Laptop 4 Girlz
I’m pretty okay with the whole hot pink make-up kit look. The feature about the screen turning into a mirror with one push of a button is fine as well.
But seriously? Built-in make up kit? Nail printer?!
As much as women like to do girly things, that’s just pretty absurd. Manicures, pedicures… that is what spas are for. Not laptops.
And hellooo, what brand of make up are you guys planning to include in there?! HP make up brand? Are you even sure it’s going to hypo-allergenic and won’t cause break outs? Hehehe

Long 10 hours battery life for single recharge
The single long 10 hours battery life has blow my mind away. Compare to common laptop which only can stand good for several hours, 10 hours of battery life could be the best product for those who living in a country that often having a blackout.

Gigabyte unveils 8.9-inch touch screen laptop
By Jose Vilches, TechSpot.com Published: July 7, 2008, 3:09 PM EST
Gigabyte just became the latest in a growing list of PC makers to enter the “netbook” market ignited by Asus late last year with the Eee PC. But while most competitors have been pretty much stuck to the same basic idea – a small, entry-level notebook with a somewhat affordable price tag – Gigabyte is trying something a bit different with its 8.9-inch laptop, the M912V

The good part is that Alienware immediately responded to the user. It seems that this peculiar problem has happened once and Alienware is trying to find the reason.
We are happily waiting for the result of Aienware’s investigation.

“Moore’s Law and volume economics made PC technology broadly accessible, and Andy understood the tremendous additive force of the Internet,” said Otellini. “But this power is still out of reach for most of the world’s people. The World Ahead Program, which integrates Intel’s efforts in accessibility, connectivity and education, seeks a multiplier effect to accelerate the next wave of gains.”
Otellini demonstrated one of the PCs developed from Intel’s extensive ethnographic research in developing countries, a small notebook PC for students code-named Eduwise. It is unclear what hardware the new laptop uses, but it is known that it does not feature a hard disk drive, but utilizes flash memory and is also capable of running Microsoft Windows XP operating system. Intel noted, that the Eduwise is a “fully-featured” personal computer (PC).
Eduwise is specifically designed to provide affordable, collaborative learning environments for teachers and young students. With students using the Eduwise notebook in class, a teacher can make presentations, control what a student has access to, and interact individually with each student in giving tests or providing feedback. The Intel-developed education application integrates with other non-computing learning tasks such as note taking and handwriting with wireless pen attachments. Because it is a fully featured PC, the Eduwise design can accommodate other standard software and tools for additional needs and uses.
Intel’s chief executive also announced that Intel and the Mexican government have reached an agreement to make Intel’s new low-cost, fully featured PC available to 300 000 teachers by year’s end. The systems, unveiled last month in Mexico by Paul Otellini as part of Intel’s Discover the PC initiative, provide an easy-to-use, fully functional PC for first-time users. Intel also plans to extend teacher training to 400 000 teachers in Mexico through the Intel Teach to the Future program by 2010.
The Eduwise is a yet another low-cost PC project, such as Advanced Micro Devices’ Personal Internet Communicator and Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s One Laptop Per Child program.
Asus Good Laptop
I usually don’t mention the laptop reviews since I find them quite boring to be honest. But this one stands out from the crowd because of the fact that A.) It’s seems to be a very good laptop, and it looks great plus B.) The review is awesome - they have tested anything from firewire transfer rate to gaming performance on 26 pages - and if you don’t want to read through all pages, that they have a 1 page summary. Impressive.
At a street price of $1700 USD, it’s a very reasonable price considering what you’re getting inside the box not to mention the great support from Asus. Now that I’ve used this laptop, everything else just looks bulky and unrefined. .

Worlds Smallest Laptop
A Korean firm’s unveiled what it claimed is the world’s smallest and lightest notebook to date.
The mbook measures just 158 x 94.1 x 18.6mm and weighs only 315g, yet its diminutive 4.8in display has a 1024 x 600 resolution and appears to be stylus operated. A speaker sits on one side of the screen and a 1.3Mp webcam rests on the other.
Two versions of the machine appear to be available, one with a 1.1GHz Intel Atom processor and another with a 1.3GHz option. Both come with 1GB of memory, but the Flash-based storage provided ranges between 8GB and 32GB. Maker UMID has also claimed the machine’s compatible with a strong selection of communication technologies, including HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiBro – a WiMax-like wireless broadband internet technology developed in the company’s native South Korea.
A pull-out aerial also allows the mbook to receive telly signals, but given that it’s DMB compatible – rather than DVB-H – it's probable that the machine’s only set-up to receive TV signals in South Korea.
Elsewhere on the tiny notebook you’ll find a four-in-one memory card slot, a mini USB 2.0 port and a Qwerty keyboard. Battery life should last about six hours. The 1.3GHz mbook costs KRW800,000 (£368/$534/€417), while its slower specification twin costs KRW700,000. UK launch dates or prices haven’t been announced.
World Thinest Laptop
Lord have mercy, Intel has just created a laptop that's as pretty as a supermodel, and thinner, too. Codenamed the Intel Mobile Metro Notebook, this prototype was designed by Intel along with Ziba Design, and it's a mere .7 inches thick and weighs just 2.25 pounds. It's no dumb blonde, either, packed with Intel's speediest and most efficient components, which will probably be plenty fast by the time this machine is manufactured, maybe even as soon as the end of this year.
This one has it all. The slim, champagne-colored magnesium notebook—which is only a quarter of an inch thicker than a Motorola RAZR cellphone—will include a magnetically attached folder that will be available in different fashion colors. That folder will also be able to charge up the laptop wirelessly, and ladies (at whom this design is clearly aimed) can attach a strap to it and make it look just like a purse. Jeez, what else did they include in this beauty?
